New Year New Beginnings

What does this New Year have in store for us? So far we have been threatened by our government to hike the taxes. With the so called fiscal cliff looming. Which may I point out we never were given the chance or right to vote for the saving of our economy. And yet here we are now in debt up to our eyeballs every person in America. With increasing threats to end Social security, a program that has supported countless Americas for generations and could continue to support if the rates were raised and the Federal government stopped borrowing against it.
But hey I am a laymen and undereducated. So what do I know. I know General Motors C.E.O. received another huge end of year bonus. This company did nothing to change its profile but repaint old cars and trucks. They did however run many more ads.

This year will we have mass space travel? Will we pay down half our debt? Will we revamp schools so children have better work ethics? Can we start programs directed at 40 and beyond adults to retrain them? Or even utilize this work force instead of penalizing them with age discrimination? Can we finally put video and audio at every school so we can monitor what is going on there? With out an armed guard at every entrance? Can we finally get out of the middle east? Can we force realtors to stop jacking house prices up beyond what most of us can pay and get back to the real prices? Can we pass a law to limit family size? Or better yet after one generation has been on welfare how about the next ones all get jobs? OK, maybe I am going to far but you get the idea. We need a good overhaul.
Any way have a blessed safe healthy happy and prosperous New Year. Oh and this time I have to add some ads you know so my New Year might have some funding. Happy New Year:)

Endless musical sounds drown out your sorrows

Motions constant motion continues

No one sees the dark within

No one hears the lone cries and tears

Holiday depression reappears

Hiding out

I am hiding out in front of you
Standing my ground hoping to find the light at the end of the tunnel
Walking forward stuck in today
Hiding seems to be what I do best and every year this time comes to me
Sitting around waiting for the next time she drops me on the ground
Tearing at my heart the thoughts of you floating by
Touching you in the dark I am hiding out right in front of you

Brain function

Moon glistens sitting just above my head. I feel her rays beaming down on me. Pulsing through my body. I am whole again, seeking solace and comfort on the sandy grounds beneath my feet. Seen any one lately I tell myself no. I am not seeing anyone lately nor will I ever again. For this is where my love lives in the moons glow. I am at one with her now. Money nightmare dream of writing professionally

I am slowly realizing I do not have the skill. The skill referred to is not writing. Rather the marketing and getting my work sold. I am a creative writer. I can perform product reviews if it is something I may use or like.
We signed up for Helium and Associated Content. I have not gotten paid from Associated. They actually keep sending me emails telling me they have paid me. My Paypal account sits bare. Another subject for another day.
But what I really want to do is publish poems and books. I may not be Shakespeare,  however I am sure the gift lives in me. Some things produced are better than others.
I took a writing course to get myself more familiar with The Writers Market. Guess I am not there yet. Or, I am in need of someone else to do the marketing. Perhaps that is a topic for writing an article. How so many of us are sold on others ideas. And they may not work. Everyone wants to sell me a book or sell me a writing opportunity to learn. Learn how to market, learn how to write. Food for writers, knowledge for writers. Writers selling other writers on other ideas. My head is spinning. How about yours. Well I have a couple pieces and would be honored if you read me.Check them out.

Enjoying the last couple weeks. Published now three articles I am proud and learning I need to spell check and re-read everything prior to getting published. I am hard on myself. I need more hits. Perhaps the articles need to be stronger. Or perhaps I am a fledgling not yet out of the nest. But willing to fly when asked. Check it out if you click on the photos they enlarge...
