The American dream has dried up and gone underground. Only 7.2 million signed up for the so called, Affordable Care Act formally Obama Care. We have a population of just over 300 million. According to this web site: http://www.census.gov/popclock/ When our leaders try to tell us how great that 7.2 million signed up, do they think we are stupid? Those numbers do not justify the forced purchase of insurance; be it called health insurance or car insurance. Our lives mean nothing but trillions of dollars to big hospitals. And pharmaceutical companies reap huge profits at our expense and then tell us that is the cost of making a drug. How ironic a drug maker on the street can sit for a mere six to eight hours and cook up killer drugs for a few hundred dollars. But pharmaceutical companies tell us how financially burdened they are from our government regulators.

Truth or some thing in between?

Knowing the truth is not always as easy as it sounds. Truth can be varied. Some give it in degrees of emotional response when trying to please other people. While we all want to tell the truth, most folks are very bad at it. If I told the women in my life that their lovers were not faithful how can this help them? I have found in my own experience that matter is better left up to those in the relationships. If I found out you are gay what does that really matter? Unless I am seeking to bed you, why would it matter to me if you are gay straight bi or transgendered? Am I a superior human? Telling other people's personal information is not a professional attribute as some may believe. Nor is creating hostile work places by gossiping about your co-workers. There are many who believe, if they pay you an income they have the right to know everything about you. Do you believe this makes for a better employee? Perhaps the truth is, we have never lost enslavement in it's basic form?

Space travel for all - not just the wealthy

We ought to work on space travel for all not just a few. Perhaps the bubble in my head is just that a bubble. Over a short time I learned people are cruel. And people have the power to raise each other up. Not hand outs but give a hand up. Space travel is about this world coming together and doing something for all life here. As we dig the earth apart and cut her trees soon temperatures will change. No one knows when or how fast. Virgin Airlines I thought was going to lead us into space. Instead, they have offered flights into weightless atmosphere like Disney land offers rides for cash. If America wanted to lead the world. We would amass people and build space ships. We would send thousands into space. Not just five or six or twelve. Not just learned minds but everyone that can make change happen for humanity and all the other creatures here. Instead, we have cut our space program, we pay Russia to go to space instead of us. We are wasting valuable time and money on screwing around. This slow pedal behavior may end the rule of man. Perhaps this is our destiny to be wiped out again and again until we figure out how to join with the world. I hope space travel becomes common and that we all have a chance to go beyond this planet. Like Start trek. Space is the final frontier or is it?

Vegetable size getting bigger or just more drugs to fight?

Bad waters, bad meat and bad fish. Vegans prepare for world domination from all the meat eaters. Our lives can be extended and even made more comfortable according to Dr.Joel Fuhrman. We can all rest easy by eating more vegetables and fruit. Get rid of diabetes and cancer, even reverse hardened arteries. Pharmaceutical companies stock plummets while Dr Joel Fuhrman rebounds and rejoices in his accounts and new found wealth. Selling an age old truth, you can't get fat if your not eating fat. That's the million dollar answer to the question. Just one tiny concern, has anyone noticed the size of a radish lately? Coming in from Mexico these little round red things look more like small plums than a radish. Taste is another concern. What ever these companies are feeding these radishes will it make us a bit bigger as well. We will see over the next year how my waist trims down or up. You never know what the truth is until the our government tells us right? Just my daily complaint or concern in this case.

After Lance Armstrong's confession he is a liar and a cheat. Can cycling ever recover or will this end all hopes for all those who aspired to be the best? Will all the monies and titles be given back and to whom goes the spoils of the now defunct Lance Armstrong? Does his behavior show us just how depraved we are as a society? And how do we deal with the fall out for years to come?

New Year New Beginnings

What does this New Year have in store for us? So far we have been threatened by our government to hike the taxes. With the so called fiscal cliff looming. Which may I point out we never were given the chance or right to vote for the saving of our economy. And yet here we are now in debt up to our eyeballs every person in America. With increasing threats to end Social security, a program that has supported countless Americas for generations and could continue to support if the rates were raised and the Federal government stopped borrowing against it.
But hey I am a laymen and undereducated. So what do I know. I know General Motors C.E.O. received another huge end of year bonus. This company did nothing to change its profile but repaint old cars and trucks. They did however run many more ads.

This year will we have mass space travel? Will we pay down half our debt? Will we revamp schools so children have better work ethics? Can we start programs directed at 40 and beyond adults to retrain them? Or even utilize this work force instead of penalizing them with age discrimination? Can we finally put video and audio at every school so we can monitor what is going on there? With out an armed guard at every entrance? Can we finally get out of the middle east? Can we force realtors to stop jacking house prices up beyond what most of us can pay and get back to the real prices? Can we pass a law to limit family size? Or better yet after one generation has been on welfare how about the next ones all get jobs? OK, maybe I am going to far but you get the idea. We need a good overhaul.
